Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Baltic Tax Centre processes personal data provided through this website, primarily when you submit a service request.
Data controller and contact details
Baltic Tax Centre, MB (company registration No. 303021390), A. Mickevičiaus St. 26-20, 08117 Vilnius, Lithuania. For privacy matters, contact: ramunas@btaxc.com.
What information we process
When you submit a service request, we receive your name, email address and the description of your enquiry, together with any other personal data you choose to provide in your message. Please avoid including confidential or sensitive information unless it is necessary for us to assess your enquiry. Technical information may also be processed by hosting providers to operate and secure the website.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use enquiry information to review your request, respond to you and, where appropriate, discuss potential professional services. Where your request concerns possible engagement, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We may also process correspondence based on legitimate interests in managing enquiries and protecting our legal position (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or where required to meet a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Sending a service request does not subscribe you to marketing communications.
Recipients and service providers
Enquiry information is handled by Baltic Tax Centre. Hosting and email service providers may process data as needed to deliver and secure those services. We do not publish the contents of enquiries or use them for advertising. Any transfers outside the European Economic Area, where applicable, must be subject to the safeguards required by data protection law.
How long we retain information
We retain enquiry information while the enquiry is being assessed and answered. Some correspondence may be retained thereafter where reasonably necessary for follow-up, record-keeping or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, and to meet applicable legal obligations. The relevant retention period depends on the circumstances and applicable requirements. If you become a client, additional retention requirements may apply to the professional engagement.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction or erasure, restriction of processing, or data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija). To exercise your rights, contact us at ramunas@btaxc.com.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice if the website, processing activities or applicable requirements change.
